After very intense development, Concord Trading Company is proud to announce it's first industrial mining ships: Prospector & Mammoth.
As we continue expanding our reach into the known universe, it became clear that planets alone cannot sustain the growth we're expecting to see. Asteroids provide natural opportunities to fuel humanity's expansion. And so with this new class of ships we believe we're opening up new ways for colonizers to expand.
First, the Prospector, a Frigate class ship, is a great investment for those at the beginnings of their journey. Our hope is that it's in the sweet-spot of mining capabilities with almost 100m2 of available cargo space.
Second, the Mammoth, a Cruiser class ship, is a long term investment for those who want to pivot to industrial mining operations. Not only does it provide twice the mining output of Prospector, but it also provides much bigger cargo capacity with almost 600m2 of available space.
In this first batch we prioritize mining capabilities and as such Industrial Mining Ships do not have any weapons system installed. Be careful how you compose your fleets as you can open yourself up for a very costly surprise.
Both ships are now available in each Trading Station operated by Concord Consortium.
