System Static Information

With the introduction of Relay Probes things got a little confusing. We now have 5 different drones. All have different purpose and some of that has been explained in my previous post. Let's today focus on the two other remaining drones: System Sensor Array and Planet Sensor Array.

System Sensor Array drones are great at providing a snapshot view of a star system. Today, they enable you to discover which star systems have planets colonised by other players. Once you deploy a drone, you should see a more detailed report of available data, both in the Galaxy Overview as well as System Overview in the Intelligence Data sections.

💡 Note: These probes will however not provide you any data about asteroids. In order to discover what asteroids are present in a star system you still have to deploy one of the other drones.

Planet Sensor Array drones are great at providing a snapshot view of a colonised planet. Once you identify a planet that's colonised by another player using System Sensor Array, you now deploy a Planet Sensor Array drone to a specific planet, to find out what resources are available, and in future more detailed information will be provided as well. Expect to see fleets orbiting the planet and planetary development (buildings) details.
